Amelia Parsons Thomas, 87, passed away on August 28, 2015. Amelia was born on June 7, 1928 in Fitch, Kentucky to Alfred Parsons and Mary Jane Richmond Parsons. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Terry, MS. Amelia is survived by her husband of 67 years, John S. Thomas; son, John David Thomas; daughters, Carol Janos and Sheila Frances; brother, Carl Parsons; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on August 31, 2015 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Lakewood Funeral Home in Jackson, MS.
