Amilia Chappell

1 septiembre , 196313 septiembre , 2021

Amilia Chappell, age 58, of Whitfield, Mississippi passed away after a prolonged illness on Monday, September 13, 2021.

Amilia was born September 1, 1963 in Pusan, Korea and raised in Jackson, Mississippi. She was an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend to anyone she met. She enjoyed dancing, listening to music, mealtimes with her loved ones, and "liked a party". She touched the hearts of many like only God's special angels can and her family was blessed that God chose her to be in their lives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Derwood and Ok Son Kim Chappell, and her brother, Edwin Chappell.

She is survived by her sisters, Rose Mary Buehler (husband, Paul) and Ann Clifton (husband, Ricky); her nephew and niece, Andrew and Maggie Clifton; bonus nieces, Sasha Barker and Rachel Lacey (husband, Joshua); and many other beloved family members and friends.

Private funeral services and interment will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 1300 West Capitol St, Jackson, MS 39203.

Rose Mary,

I like many others knew Amilia through the fond memories you shared during a lunch setting or as you introduced yourself during staff meetings, there's one thing for sure, Amilia was always a part of the conversation. We knew by your heart felt comments she was a huge part of a loving family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Ann, you and the entire family.
