

Annie Agnes Wall DeLaughter, 99 years young, left her earthly home on February 2, 2018. She was born in Ridgeland, MS on July 19, 1918 to William Oscar and Cola Lee Adcock Wall. She is preceded in death by her parents and seven younger siblings. Annie was a model student and the first in her family to graduate from high school (Central High School, Class of 1937). Her highest aptitudes were in law, politics, writing and domestic activities.
A life long resident of Jackson, MS, she worked as a secretary/receptionist retiring at age 72 from the University Medical Center/ Dental Hygiene Dept. Pastimes she enjoyed were reading, writing and political debate. Her greatest pleasure was being a mother and grandmother. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ
She is survived by two daughters: Lee Ann D. Foster, Linda Easterling, and son-in-law David Easterling, all of Brandon. Seven grandchildren: Heather and Amy Foster, Chris, Jerad, Susan, Bradford and Emily Easterling. Several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 4-7pm at Lakewood Funeral Home (Clinton Blvd.) and 10-11 am Thursday, February 8, 2018. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday followed by graveside service at Lakewood Cemetery.
