She was preceded in death by her husband, Golden Jones; parents, Jacob “Buddy” and Abby Bowman Sistrunk; and one sister, Etoil Netherland.
Mrs. Jones is survived by one son, Phil Jones (Vanessa); one daughter, Delilah Matthews; one sister, Lois McQueen (John); six grandchildren: Russell Jones (Melissa), Ronnie Jones, Jacob Matthews (Ashley), Sherri White (Scottie), Anna Smith, and Staci Matthews; eight great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 6, 2016 at Lakewood Memorial Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. The service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3 p.m. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Salem Baptist Church, 2666 Learned Road, Raymond, MS 39154.
