Betty Dorman Plummer, 80, passed away July 28, 2015, after a lengthy battle with kidney disease. She was born in Jackson, MS February 26, 1935 to Blanche and Edward Neil Dorman, Sr. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Donnie Mitchell, Edward Neil, Jr. and Clayton Dorman; and her husband, Richard Gregory Plummer. She is survived by her brother, Robert Dorman and wife, Catherine of FL and sister-in-law, Madeleine Dorman of MN; her sons, Gary Plummer and wife, Valerie, Walter Plummer and wife, Melanie; and daughters, Lori Roof and husband, Greg, Janice Sauer and husband, Bobby, and Linda Geary and husband, Jack. She also has 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at St. Dominic, Chadwick Nursing Home, Fresenius and Gentiva Hospice for all the love and care you provided to Betty and the family. An afternoon graveside service will be held at Lakewood Memorial Cemetery at 6000 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, MS at 3:00 on August 1, 2015.
