Mr. Billy Ray Stidham, 79, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at his home in Jackson. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, December 20 at Lakewood South Funeral Home on McCluer Rd with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Lakewood South Memorial Park.
Mr. Stidham was born in Flat Gap, VA on March 23, 1935 to the late Frank and Minnie Bolling Stidham. He retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service in the 90th Unit Combat Support. He was a member of Eagle Ridge Community Church in Raymond. He worked as head building maintenance for Alta Wood Baptist church for 23 years.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Stidham; parents; daughter, Cheryl Stidham; and brothers, Earnest Bolling, Kermit Bolling, and Raleigh Bolling.
He is survived by his son, Kevin Stidham (Sharon) and grandson, Austin Stidham.
