Mrs. Bonnie Lucile Ellis

She was born on March 25, 1922 in Freeny, MS. Lucile worked for many years at Jackson Public Schools, and retired from Spann Elementary. She was a charter member and served in many ministries at Broadmeadow United Methodist Church.

Lucile was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, dedicated to her family. She is survived by and will be deeply missed by her husband of nearly 64 years, Haywood (Woody) Ellis, Sr.; sons Haywood (Sandy) Ellis, Jr. and David Ellis; grandsons Chris, Brett and Taylor Ellis; sister Rosalie Dorrill and Brother Willis Ellis. She was preceded in death by her son Thomas James Ellis and brothers Herman Ellis, Kermit Ellis and sister Mable Watkins

Visitation will be after 10:00 AM Saturday May 22, 2010 d at Broadmeadow United Methodist Church with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 AM. Following the service Interment will be in Lakewood Cemetery.
