He had a deep love for his family, and nothing brought him more joy than his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also loved to fish-whether reeling in a big one or just enjoying the quiet of the water. He was known for his incredible cooking, from the meanest, most delicious steak in a skillet to his legendary homemade salad dressing.

Charles is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 69 years, Jane "Nanny" Prince; his sister, Sedalia Acey; his children, Tammy Raulston, Kim Prince (Gary), and Nicky Prince (Diana); his grandchildren, Raegan Smith (Cory), Justin Phillips, Dakota Share (Allen Michael), Dallas Moore, Cody Prince, Chase Prince, and Aaron "Huck-a-Buck" Abbott; and his great-grandchildren, Grayson Moore, Swade Smith, Drake Share, Scout Smith, Jet Share, and Reiny-Lane Share.
