Clara Faye Goode Phillips

Clara Faye Goode Phillips, 83, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, March 5 at Lakewood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church of Flora on Saturday at 1:00 PM with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at Lakewood Memorial Park. Bro. Jon Daniels will be officiating and the music will be lead by Bro. Gill Powell. Pallbearers will be Craig Phillips, Derek Phillips, Cole Dalton, Kevin Phillips, Chris Purnell, Hunter Ray, Christopher Charles Pevey.

Mrs. Phillips was born on June 24, 1937 in Bolton, MS to the late H.H. Goode and Thelma Olene Davis Goode. For anyone who knew her it was obvious of her love for the Lord, her family and her passion for flowers in her yard.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Edna Lois Kirby, Miles Ray Goode, Betty Jean Abernathy and Brenda Joyce French.

Mrs. Phillips is survived by her husband of 64 years, Benjamin Lee "Mickey" Phillips; children, (her favorite son), Benjamin Mark Phillips (Brenda) and Brenda Faye Dalton (Jacques); grandchildren, Benjamin Craig Phillips (Katie-Gay), Derek Mark Phillips (Meredith), Philip Cole Dalton, Victoria Jade Dalton; great grandchildren, Benjamin Grant Phillips, Briley Rayne Phillips, LilyBelle Phillips, and Garrison Craig Phillips. She is also survived by her siblings, Shirley Ann Williams, Mary Kathryn Purnell (Tom), Lawrence Edward Goode (Leona), Jo Olene Holliday (Buddy); brother-in-law, Buddy French; 29 nieces and nephews, 38 great nieces and nephews, 32 great-great nieces and nephews.
