Services are scheduled for Mrs. Lucy Hart on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Lakewood Funeral Home in Jackson, MS. Visitation is at 1:00 p.m. with services to follow at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Keith Grubbs will officiate.
Mrs. Hart, 87 years old, of Brandon, MS died May 16, 2018 following a long illness at Brandon Court. She is survived by her husband, Howard Franklin Hart, Jr. of 65 years. Mrs. Hart is survived by two sons: Tim Hart (Amy) of Carrollton, TX and their children, Samantha and Valerie Hart; and Don Hart (Susan) of Wesson, MS and their children, Jeremy and Joshua Hart; and one brother, Dick Ingram.
Mrs. Hart is a native of Ethel, MS. She lived in South Jackson, MS where she retired after 40 years with South Central Bell. After retirement, she and her husband moved to Brandon. She loved to travel, cross-stitch, make flower arrangements, and pamper her grandchildren.
Mrs. Hart was a member of Park Place Baptist Church in Brandon, MS and loved to attend her Sunday School classes. She will be laid to rest at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS.
