She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude W. Gober of Jackson, MS, and three siblings: Herschel Bryant of Indian Springs, AL, Edith Legg of Monroe, MI, and Eva Nell Bryant of Greenwood, AR.
She is survived by her two children: Janice Shanahan (John) of Lakewood Ranch, FL and James Gober (Ginger) of Huntsville, AL and her three grandchildren: Jenny McDaniel (Ben) of Charlotte, NC, Jamie Gober of Vestavia Hills, AL and Jordan Gober of Huntsville, AL and seven nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 27th from 12:00 to 2:00 PM with funeral services beginning at 2:00 PM at Lakewood Funeral Home in Jackson, MS. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park where she will be subsequently buried alongside her husband.
