JACKSON, MS
Mr. Jimmy Dee (Jim) Martin, Jr., 50, died December 6, 2010 at Central MS Medical Center in Jackson. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 AM Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Chapel in Jackson with interment in Jessamine Cemetery in Ridgeland. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:30 – 8 PM at Baldwin-Lee.
Mr. Martin was a member of Parkhill Baptist Church and was the manager of Reed Pierce’s in Byram. He was a 1978 graduate of Forest Hill High School, served in the US Army and is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy D. Martin, Sr.
He is survived by his son, Jared Martin of Florence; mother, Irene Martin of Jackson; his loving companion, Tammy Garrard of Jackson; brothers, Pat Martin and John Martin, both of Florence.
