Lucille Fay Seal Renfroe

Lucille Fay Seal Renfroe, age 82, died Tuesday, August 10, 2010 in Jackson. Services will be at 9:30 AM on Friday, August 13, 2010 at Baldwin-Lee Chapel in Jackson with Rev. Baylot officiating. Burial will follow at Rehobeth Baptist Church Cemetery in Pelahatchie. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Jackson.

Mrs. Renfroe was born in Bogalusa, Louisiana on February 26, 1928 and moved to Jackson with her family when she was three months old. Mrs. Renfroe was a long time member of Southside Baptist Church and Daniel Memorial Baptist Church. She worked as a bookkeeper and in later years a tax preparer for H&R Block. She enjoyed sewing, painting, some crafting and especially talking with friends and family, but most of all she enjoyed preparing taxes and working with numbers.

She is preceded by her husband Spencer Ora “S.O.” Renfroe and her parents, Louis J. and Bessie Metilda Seal.

Survivors include her daughters, Ora Fay Renfroe Johnson and her husband Richard J. Johnson of Mocksville, NC and Donna Renfroe Sitton and her husband Richard L. Sitton of Saudi Arabia. A brother, Edmond Earl Seal of La Grange, GA and six grandchildren, Jay Johnson of Celina, TX, Josh Johnson of Halstead, KS, Jordan Johnson of Spring, TX, Erin Sitton Scallorn of El Paso, TX, Maggie Sitton of Saudi Arabia and Kelly Sitton of Saudi Arabia. Great grandchildren, Ainsley Johnson, Everett Johnson, Spencer Johnson, Lorelai Scallorn and one to arrive in February.

Pallbearers will be Jay Johnson, Josh Johnson, Jordan Johnson, Richard Johnson, Richard Sitton, Stephen Scallorn and Corey Parish.
