

Rose Molpus escaped the dangers, toils and snares of this world and has found peace with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She slipped away from this life on April 16, 2016 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Clinton, MS after an extended illness. Roselle was born May 18, 1938 in Kemper Co. MS to Carrie and Mott Partridge. She graduated from DeKalb High School, where she was voted most beautiful her junior year. While working at Stennis drugstore she met the love of her life, Don Molpus. Don and Roselle were married August 3, 1956 and moved to Jackson where they raised a family. Roselle was a letter carrier for the US postal service at Westland Plaza where she had many friends. She enjoyed caring for children, gardening and reading. She enjoyed her church friends at Wynndale Baptist Church. Roselle is survived by her children Margaret Cole, Don Marshall Molpus, Jr. and wife (Beth), and John David Molpus, and two grandchildren Don Marshall Molpus, III (Trey) and Anthony Jacob Prine. She is also survived by her brother and sisters, Roy Partridge (Ann), DeKalb, MS Roma Allen (Kenneth) Preston, MS and Beverly Hudnall (James), Meridian, MS and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Don Marshall Molpus, Sr., her parents, Mott and Carrie Partridge and her son-in-law Rhudy Cole. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016 at Lakewood Memorial Funeral Home from 12:30-2:00 pm with the service at 2:00 pm and graveside immediately following at Clinton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would like for memorials to be made to the Wynndale Baptist Church building fund. Wynndale Baptist Church, 11287 Springridge Road, Terry, MS 39170. Our Family would like to thank the staff and residents at Brookdale Assisted Living in Clinton for loving and caring for our mother in many ways. Also, we thank all the staff at Southern Care Hospice and Amada Senior Care for your loving care for our mother.
