Margaret Fay Hill Russell

She was an amazing woman, full of love, grace and mercy, a devoted wife, a rock as a mother, and a wonderful grandmother. She was married to Jerry Franklin Russell, Sr. for 53 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents Frank Britton Hill, Sr. and Essie Skeen Hill; her sisters Florence Ives, Sue Reid; and her brothers Frank Hill Jr. and Jai Hill.

She is survived by her brother Johnny Hill (of Arlington, Texas) and sisters Rosaline Goolsby (of Gautier, MS), Corrie Smith (of Madison, MS), Marilynn Moore (of Denver, CO), and Brenda Stamper (of Meridian, MS). She is also survived by her loving husband Jerry F. Russell Sr. (of Alabaster, AL) and 4 beautiful children, Jerry F. Russell, Jr and wife Linda (of Duette, FL), Michael Russell and wife Michelle (of Birmingham, AL), Steven Russell (of Birmingham, AL), and Angela Russell Durant (of Alabaster, AL). Nine beloved grandchildren, Parker Dykes, Jacob Durant, Austin Russell, Madison Russell, Sawyer Russell, Ashley Russell, Adam Russell, Keaton Russell, and Evan Russell.

Funeral Services will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson MS 39209. Visitation will be Thursday June 19, 2014 between 5pm – 7pm. Funeral Service will be Friday June 20, 2014 starting at 11am with interment to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
