She was preceded in death by her daughter, Katherine Langford Phillips. She is survived by her son, Allen Langford, and his wife, Mysty, along with her cherished grandchildren, Rayne Allen Phillips and Olivia Ruth Langford. Margenia was also a loving sister to Mike Depta and his wife Ellen of Natchez, MS, Alvin Loftis and his wife Diane of Columbus, MS, and Johnny Halbert of Columbus, MS.
Margenia retired from her career as a bookkeeper, where she dedicated her skills and attention to detail. Known for her quiet and introspective nature, Margenia often connected with people who were overlooked by others, offering kindness and understanding. Her deep love for her granddaughters was evident in her life and actions. Margenia will be remembered for her fun and entertaining spirit, bringing joy to those around her.
Margenia will be remembered for her gentle spirit and her ability to touch the lives of those who knew her. A memorial service to celebrate Margenia's life will be held at a later date.
