

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 29, 2010, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Jackson (High Street). The funeral service will be at Galloway United Methodist Church in Jackson on Monday, August 30, 2010, at 11:00 am in the chapel, preceded by visitation starting at 10:00 am.
Dell was a native of Columbia, MS and attended MSCW and Ole Miss, where she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority.
She was married for 49 years to Alfred N. Crisler, who preceded her in death in 2009. When her children were young, she was a Sunday school teacher and scout leader. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining for family and friends, reading and watching Ole Miss football games. She was also active in community children's theater, garden clubs, bridge clubs, and was a member of the Lunch Bunch Dinner Club. Dell was a loving mother and grandmother.
Dell was preceded in death by her parents, Hollis C. Rawls and Adele Mounger Rawls of Columbia and her brothers, Ben M. Rawls, Charles H. Rawls, and H. Clifton Rawls.
She is survived by her daughter, Hollie Crisler Torrence and husband Jerry Torrence of Florence, MS and their children, Jeremy Torrence, Sonya Bardwell, Crisler Torrence and Nicols Torrence; son Alfred N. Crisler, Jr. and wife Debbie Daniels Crisler of Frisco, TX, and their son, Matthew Crisler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express special thanks to her caregiver, Annie Johnson.
