Martha Dunn, 87, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Manhattan Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Dunn was born on December 12, 1929 in Lake Providence, LA to the late Thomas S. and Nora Millsaps Potter. She graduated from Carr Central High School in Vicksburg, MS. She was a sales manager for Yazoo Manufacturing Company for 22 years. She later worked as an accounting supervisor for several law firms in the Jackson area, eventually retiring from Wells, Moore, Simmons, and Neeld.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Dunn; parents; brother, William Thomas Potter; and sister, Louise Middleton.
Mrs. Dunn is survived by several nieces and nephews.
