Marvin D. Cleveland Jr.

A visitation for Marvin will be held Sunday, August 28, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Lakewood Funeral Home, 6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, Mississippi. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at Lakewood Memorial Park-South, 430 McClure Rd, Jackson, MS 39212.

Marvin was a member of Star Baptist Church. He loved flowers, cutting grass, working in the garden and carpentry.

Marvin is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Cleveland Sr. and Roselle McQuirter Cleveland. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Frances Cleveland; sons, Joey Cleveland and Dee Cleveland; daughter, Cathy Glaze; grandchildren, Morgan Leigh Alsup and Kari Renee Cook; great-grandchildren, Lawsyn Kate Cook and Swayze Elizabeth Cook.
