Maxie L. Wright, 94, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Arbor Nursing Home in Ridgeland. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Lakewood Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Wright was born on December 13, 1922 to the late Jim and Minnie Peacock Weathersby.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Wright; parents; siblings, James Weathersby, Johnnie Weathersby-Hammond, and T.E. Weathersby.
Mrs. Wright is survived by her nieces, Margaret W. Coulon (Joe), Celia Pendergrass (Bill), and Sherri Smith (Glenn); nephews, Tommy Weathersby (Susan), Mark Weathersby (Phyllis), and Robert Weathersby (Linda); and a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews.
