Mike was one of the best men you would ever meet. He never met a stranger. He was always so giving of himself.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Eva Scarbrough and numerous other loved ones.

Mike leaves behind his sister, Kathy Thornton (Bobby) of Clinton, Gale Humble (Doug) of Alabama; three nephews, Michael Thornton (Beth), Scott Thornton (Sarah), and Jason Humble (Hannah). He had one niece, Danielle Edwards (Jerry). Mike was blessed with four great nephews and two great nieces.

He loved to fish and enjoyed being with family.
