
Nan Sugg "graduated" from this life peacefully, surrounded by her family at home, after a four-year fight against cancer. Her death was marked by the joy that characterized her entire life. Nan Hollingsworth Gregory Sugg was born January 5, 1943 in Clarksdale, MS to Owen and Harriet Gregory.
A graduate of Murrah High School and Mississippi College, Nan served 20 years as a missionary in Taiwan with her husband Rob.
She was known both for her love for people and her love for missions, as well as her great faith in God's plan and purpose for the lives of all people.
She is survived by her husband, Rob, and her three children, Harriet Lehnhoff, Robert Sugg, and Carroll Speed as well as seven grandchildren; Philip, Colt, Crimson, and Robert Sugg and Erin, Rob, and Avery Kate Speed.
Visitation will be in the Fellowship Hall East at First Baptist Church on Wednesday, July 24 from 5-7 pm, with a memorial service at FBC on Thursday, July 25 at 2 pm. Interment will be in Eupora, Mississippi.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to First Baptist Church as "Missions - Nan Sugg."
