He was a Medic in the Army during WWII. Norris worked for 25 years in the airline business and retired in 1985 from Delta Airlines. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Byram. Norris was an avid hunter and continued to hunt with his brothers into his seventies. As a young man he enjoyed participating in the rodeo.
Norris is survived by his spouse, Faye Parker; daughter, Judy Holder; granddaughters, Katie Corr (Matt), Kristy Parker (Clay); grandson, Tony Parker (Marylin); five great grandchildren; step children, Cindy Boatner, Amy Cresswell (Eddie) and Major Sam Hall (Rebecca); eight step grandchildren and numerous step great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; 12 siblings and his son, Mike Parker.
