Patricia Jean Keith, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025. She was born on November 8, 1954, in Jackson, Mississippi, where she grew up with a love for sports, playing basketball, softball, and bowling. Throughout her life, Patricia maintained a passion for sports, often traveling to conventions and collecting sports memorabilia.
Patricia was known for her kind and caring nature, always offering support to her family and friends. Her love for her family was unwavering, and she touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she found community and faith.
Later in life, Patricia discovered a love for NASCAR, spending time with her husband and friends at racetracks, watching the thrilling races. She also dedicated 30 years of her career to working at a General Motors manufacturing facility in Clinton, Mississippi, where she was a valued and respected employee.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Grace Claudine McNeil Alford and James Hugh Alford Jr., and her brothers James Ray Alford and Aubrey Lee Alford. She is survived by her loving husband, Randy Wesley Keith, her son Randy Wesley Keith Jr., her daughter-in-law Jenny Cannon Keith, her cherished granddaughter Rose Marie Keith, and her sisters Linda Faye Alford, Sherry Ann Alford Mahaffey, and Nancy Grace Gordon Alford. Patricia also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews who will miss her deeply. A visitation for Patricia will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Lakewood Funeral Home, 6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, Mississippi 39209, with a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Pavilion service to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
