Peggy Ann Brent

Peggy Seay Brent, 81, passed away Saturday January 12, 2013 at her daughter's home in Sumrall. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Wednesday January 16, 2013 at Cain-Cochran Hall-Hogg Auditorium at Hinds Community College- Raymond Campus, preceded by visitation from 1-3pm.

A private burial will be in Batesville, MS.

She was the English and MFL Department Chair of the Raymond Campus and HCC District English and MFL Curriculum Coordinator. She was active in Delta Kappa Gamma and the Welty Foundation.

Survivors include her daughter, Denise Dyess of Sumrall, MS; grandchildren, Ashleigh, Kelsey, and Geoffrey Dyess all of Sumrall, MS; and brother, Bill Seay(Lora) of Birmingham, AL.

Honorary pallbearers are members and staff of the Hinds Community College English and Modern Foreign Language Department.
