Rachel was born in Jackson, Mississippi and lived there until she moved to Waveland/Bay St. Louis in 2021. She worked as a PBX operator at Woman’s Hospital and River Oaks Hospital for over 30 years and also worked at TG&Y and Tucker Printing House.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Beulah Vaughan and her husband, William A. Weeks (Bill). She is survived by her loving children and their spouses: Debbie Rush (Bill) San Antonio, TX; Becky Starita (Mike) Bay St. Louis, MS; and Billy Weeks (Naoko) Des Moines, IA; three grandchildren, Michael (Tam); Traci Rush (Laurie Morton) and Justice Weeks. Rachel also is survived by five great grandchildren Rylan, Melayne and Meira Chiang; Charlotte Rush-Morton and Blu Weeks.
Services will be held on August 9, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Lakewood Funeral Home.
