Mr. Bob Newman, 85, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Lakewood Funeral Home on Clinton Blvd. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Edwina H. Newman; great grandson, Jacob Little; one brother and four sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Munn Newman; children, Sandra Mohr (Bob), Janice Newman, Patty Jolley (Jim), Randy Newman and Rick Newman (Suzan); 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sister, Peggy Cook (John); and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
