Poncho is survived by his wife Julie McCormick of Bay Springs. A daughter Kayla McCormick and 2 sons Thomas Sims and wife Christy of Stringer and Will Sims and wife Nikki of Bay Springs. 2 grandchildren Paul-Bennett and Owen Sims and a Granddaughter Livey to be born this fall.
He was Preceded in death by his father Billy Joe McCormick, a son Dusty McCormick, and brother Ronnie Joe McCormick.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 5-8 at Wright and Ferguson funeral home in Jackson. There will be a
Graveside service on Thursday at 4:30pm at the McCormick Family Cemetery in Bay Springs, MS. Poncho Left behind a loving family, many friends and lots of precious memories.
