Ruby Lucille Hardy

Ruby Lucille Hardy 90 passed away Friday March 20, 2020 at Manhattan Nursing & Reb Center in Jackson, MS due to Lung Cancer and her daughter beside her - Cindy. There will be a graveside service at Lakewood Funeral South in Jackson, MS at 2pm Sunday, April 5, 2020.

Ms Ruby Hardy was born November 14, 1929 to Franklin & Addie Lee Woods Webster in Yazoo City, MS She was a Waitress/Bartender at Brookwood Country Club in Jackson, MS for many many long years. Then she helped run Raymond Road Lounge.

She never met a stranger. She loved to go on Carnival Cruise Lines and traveled to London on the Concord plane and came back on the Queen Elizabeth. This was her favorite passion – Traveling and Cruising. Also singing “Lucille & Ruby Don’t Take Your Love to Town” by Kenny Rogers and other old country songs She went to Old Rice Road Baptist Church in Madison, MS. Where I was told she loved Jesus and sing.

Along with her parents – Also preceded in death by her companionship - Billie McElhenney of 30 something years, Sister Myrtie (Muddy) Moore in 1997.

She is survived by her daughter – Cindy Wallace and her son-n-law David of Pearl, MS &4 Nieces from Dallas, TX. Millie Daugherty, Gaye Owen, Kala Moore Woodworth & Marie Davenport. And all her adopted kids (LOL)

She is deeply missed by her daughter and others who knew her. Especially during this hard time in the world today. Love your daughter- Cincin

Cindy and David, we are so sorry we can't be there with you today. Aunt Ruby will always be in our memories and in our hearts. She was definitely one of a kind.
