Sadie Rose Robinson Pope, homemaker, died peacefully Monday, February 8, 2016. She was born on July 8, 1924 in Magnolia, MS to the late Sylvester and Hattie Robinson. Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 4-7 pm. Funeral services will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home Friday, February 12, 2016 at 9 am with burial immediately to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Sadie is preceded in death by her husband of 72 years Hansford Pope, three brothers, and one sister. She deeply loved her family and is survived by: her daughter, Sylvia Hodge (Danny); grandchildren, Shelia Howell (Mark) of Pensacola, Jo Anna Arnold (Edward) of Brandon, and Heath Hodge (Mari Cris) of Shreveport; great grandchildren, Tyler, Brooke, Hannah, Evan, and Turner.
