Samuel Wages was born on May 27, 1932 in Union County, MS. He retired from the Army and worked at Methodist Rehab for 23 years. He was a loving husband and father. He had a wonderful gift for gab and never met a stranger. Samuel leaves behind his wife, Elsie Wages; four children, Sammy (Linda), Charlotte Wages, Sam "Buddy" (Donna) and Dianne Puckett' one step son, CJ Richards (Kristy); 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 1:00-3:00 pm at Lakewood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 pm with interment to follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.
