Tyler D. Tall Jr. passed on May 11, 2026, at the age of 41. A Funeral Service will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home, 6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, Mississippi 39209, on May 17, 2026, at 3:00 pm. Final resting place will be at Lakewood Memorial Park, 6000 Clinton Blvd., Jackson.
Tyler was born June 8, 1984, in Kankakee, Illinois. Tyler was a graduate of Wingfield High School and attended Hinds Community College. He was employed with Cardinal Health for over ten years. Tyler loved his family and he will be greatly missed by everyone that loved him.
Tyler is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Silas Jackson Sr. and Cassie Jackson; paternal grandparent, George B. Tall, Jr.; maternal uncles, Silas Jackson Jr., Eddie Jackson and J.C. Jackson.
He is survived by his parents, Tyler D. Tall Sr. and Linda Jackson-Smith; step-father, Alston Smith; daughter, Cassie Tall; brothers, George (Daniela) M. Tall III and David Smith; sisters Chanukka (Trevor) Wiggins, Yudeith Smith and Claudia Masoner; paternal grandparent, Laura Tall; maternal aunts and uncles, Lillie Price, Olean Lane, Dorothy Jackson-Baker, Bettie (Brian) Spears, Annie (Wilbert) Brown, Norma Rucker, Cassie (Fred) Gordon, Robert Jackson Jr., and Willie (Mary) Jackson; paternal aunts and uncles, Kim Williams and Cheryl (Kevin Sr.) Hawkins and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
