Walker Raney, a beloved son, brother, and grandson, passed away on December 17, 2025, at the age of 18. Born on January 30, 2007, in Flowood, Mississippi, Walker was a resident of Clinton, Mississippi.
Walker is a recent graduate of Clinton High School and was attending Hinds Community College. He worked as a Pro Shop Attendant at Live Oaks Golf Club, where he was known for his dedication and passion for his work. Walker also enjoyed playing golf, a hobby that brought him much joy and fulfillment.
He is survived by his loving parents, Jimmy and Beth Raney, his sister, Avery Grace Raney, and his brother, Greyson Raney, all of whom reside in Clinton, Mississippi. He is also survived by his grandparents, Barbara Trott of Clinton, Mississippi, Linda Raney of Terry, Mississippi, and Diane Scoggins (Billy) of Florence, Mississippi. Walker was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jim Raney and Bill Trott.
A visitation will be held at The Reed House at Live Oaks, located at 11200 US 49 N, Jackson, MS, on December 21, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at the same venue, beginning at 4:00 pm.
Walker will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and the joy he brought to everyone he met. His memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends.
