A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2013 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall. Mrs. Ecoff's remains will be entombed in the columbarium at St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
Mrs. Ecoff is preceded in death by her father, George Edward Dorsett and her mother, Cora Matheny Economos.
She is survived by her husband, Harry F. Ecoff, Sr.; four sons, Harry F. Ecoff, Jr., Roy Ecoff, Charles D. Slaton, and Daniel H. Ecoff; a daughter, Betsy Stevenson; and seven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to The American Cancer Society.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 30, 2013, from 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home.
