During his working career, Mr. Britton was an Assembler at ABB in Alamo, TN. Mr. Britton also served his country in the United States Army from 1971 to 1977, spending three of those years in Germany.
Mr. Britton is survived by his wife, Sandra Britton; a son, B.J. McClanahan; three daughters, Charli Knight, Stephanie Gulledge and Nikki Barnes; 6 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Visitation with the Britton Family will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., at the North Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
