

Calvin retired from the Military after 21 years of Service, which included two tours of Duty in Vietnam during the war as well as time spent in Japan, Korea, Germany, and in the U.S. He served a short time in the Signal Corps and then served the remainder of his active duty in the Army Security agency as a radio repairman.
Calvin was very active in and fond of his local church, Central Avenue Christian, Humboldt, TN. He was also active in Several Military organizations and was very proud of his service to his Nation.
Calvin is survived by his three sisters Jo Ellen Clifton and her spouse Robert, Carla Fletcher, and Sue Hensley and her spouse Jerry. He is also survived by 5 nephews, 2 nieces, 4 great nieces, and 5 great nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Central Avenue Christian Church in Humboldt, TN
