

She loved the Lord Jesus Christ with her whole heart and did her best to stand as a witness of Him in all times and in all things and in all places. She was a devoted member of the Trenton Branch of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served as full time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Canada for 18 months. She was president of the Star Trek fan club in Memphis,TN for many years. The Tennessee Walking Horse held a special place in her heart. She retired with 20+ years from P&G in Jackson, Tn.
She is survived by three sisters, Glenda G. Carter, Joyce Ann Meadows (Bobby) Meadows and Sandra Kay Pate ( Hughes) and her children Roy and Marie Hughes. She has three nieces, Jana Pate, Kacy Meadows (Trey) Cioccia with their two sons Mason and Myles, Beth Murley (Roger) Murley, their sons Andrew Murley and Eric Murley. One nephew Kevin (Brittany) Meadows with their two sons Nolan and Tripp.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Elizabeth W. and Roy T. Pate, one sister Janet E. Pate, one nephew David G. Carter, and one great-niece Olivia B. Carter.
Graveside services for Miss Pate will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Ridgecrest Cemetery.
