

Donald was born on April 8, 1960 in Corinth, MS, one of ten children born to the late Hubert and Lola May White Calhoun. Donald was a wonderful husband, provider, protector, and caregiver. He was the best Poppy ever. He was one of the hardest workers that ever lived. He didn't know the meaning of the words quit or fear and would do anything for anyone.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Terry; and a brother, Bobby Calhoun.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Sandra Calhoun; four children, Stephanie Puckett (Jimmy), Steve Hardman, Shawn Eberle (Roby), and Shari Hardman; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren with one on the way; his siblings, Junior Calhoun, LeeRoy Calhoun, Peggy Pledger, Pat Parsons, Jean Mauldin, Judy Walker, and Joyce Pugh.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 12-1:45 p.m. at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. At the conclusion of visitation, an escorted procession will travel to Highland Memorial Gardens for a graveside service at 2 p.m., officiated by Marcie Hendrick. Burial will follow the service.
Pallbearers to serve will be Shane Coffman, Dakota Coffman, Michael Peterson, Roby Eberle, Dustin Smith, Brent Vaughn, Ryan McNeill, Caleb Hebert, Junior Calhoun, and LeeRoy Calhoun.
