

Doyle (Bear) Q. McCabe of Jackson Tennessee died early the morning of January 11th, 2021 at Jackson General Hospital after being admitted on December 19th, 2020 with complications from Diabetes and Disabilities.
He was born on February 16th, 1957 in Mulberry Arkansas, the son of the late Doyel Frank McCabe and Baby Ruth Morse McCabe. He graduated from West Jefferson High School in 1975 in Harvey Louisiana. He proudly served in the United States Army retiring as Sargent with disabilities attained while serving. In later years, he spent his time with his close friend's and family and his rescued dogs.
He was preceded in death by his only child, son, Brian Cadmen McCabe; father, John Edens, Sr.; and brother Johnny Edens, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Baby Ruth Edens; brother, Regnal McCabe; aunt, Margie Parrott; aunt, Wanda Morse; step-mother Margaret McCabe; spouse; Terrie Killough Larkins and family, John & Beverly Killough, Dave Killough, John & Kelleen Killough; nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
He will be remembered by many as a giant hearted protector, friend, and companion with a huge smile and laugh and a willingness to help anyone he could.
An online memorial service will take place for family and close friends. In lieu of flowers please make donations to The Wounded Warriors Project in Nashville Tennessee in Bear's name. Thank you.
