

Ms. Warmath was born on November 15, 1932 in Jackson to the late Marcus Barker, Sr. and Bessie Rogers Barker. She was a bank teller for many years and retired from Regions Bank. She was an active member of Northside Church where she was involved in multiple activities and functions. Ms. Warmath loved her church family and enjoyed serving.
Her heart's desire was spreading love and joy. She enjoyed most of all her gardening, working with flowers, and fishing. She loved her family dearly and was so thankful they all knew Jesus.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Kay Long (Gary) and son, Ken Warmath (Judy); grandchildren, Holly Jackson (Greg), April Berkley (Steve), and Tyler Warmath (Morgan); great-grandchildren, Ella Grace Lancaster, Ashlyn Berkley, and Luke Berkley; and one sister, Bessie Mae Moling.
Active pallbearers to serve will be Steve Berkley, Luke Berkley, Greg Jackson, Tyler Warmath, Gary Long, and David Wright.
The family would like to thank Alamo Nursing Home and Hospice of West Tennessee for caring for her during her struggle with cancer.
The family will receive friends and loved ones from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Dr. Don Thrasher, Pastor of Northside Church, to officiate. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery.
