She was born on August 23, 1922 in Madison County, TN to the late Peter C. Havner and Marie Hornbeck Havner, the only girl of six children. She was a longtime billing clerk for Townsend Electric. Elizabeth was an active member of Calvary Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she served as a church treasurer and Elder.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Miller; her grandson, Jason McAlexander-Morris; and her brothers, Gene Havner (Sue), Ray Havner (Betty Ann), Calvin Havner (Mildred), John Havner (Clara), and David Havner.
She is survived by her daughter, Janice Morris (Kenneth) of Jackson; her grandson, Thomas Morris of Jackson; her great granddaughter, Hannah Alexis Morris; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. The funeral procession will leave the North Chapel going to Ridgecrest Cemetery for a graveside service at 2:00 pm.
