I often wondered about Gary and wished he was back at Kroger's because I also ways use to say how I liked him and nobody has been there that would treat you like Gary.  He will be truly missed!!! With sincere sympathy and deepest condolences!!  Marie Herron Andrews and Family!

I worked with Gary at Kroger. I am very sad to hear of his passing. He was a great guy.

Gary was a great co-worker and friend to my wife and I as our paths crossed from time to time throughout the years at Kroger. I never witnessed him let a customer leave without saying "appreciate you". He displayed courtesy and provided thoughtful guidance to those he worked with and to customers he counseled. We hope that he's found peace and comfort as he's moved on from this world. Our prayers are with his family during this time.

I had been keeping up with Gary the past few months.  He battled hard and came back from his most recent hospital stay.  Was sure shocked to hear about this.

I'm so very sorry for your loss!!  He was a kind and gentle man!!  I know he will truly be miss!!  You and your family are in my prayers

CONDOLENCES:   I HATE TO HEAR THIS. I USE TO WORK WITH GARY AT REVCO  DRUGSTORE A LONG TIME AGO.  HE WAS ALWAYS IN A GOOD MOOD AND HE WAS A VERY KIND PERSON. A PLEASURE TO BE AROUND, AND TO WORK WITH.     WHEN REVCO CLOSED HE WENT TO KROGER UN PARKWAY DRUG STORE  AND THEN TO LYNN WOOD  KROGER DRUGSTORE. HE WAS A DEAR FRIEND HE FILLED MANY PRESCRIPTIONS FOR ME. VERY SAD NEWS FOR ME!!~ I WILL MISS HIM. LORD I PRAY THAT YOU WILL COMFORT HIS FAMILY AND GIVE THEM PEACE THAT SURPASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING, LORD GIVE THEM STRENGTH  TO GO THROUGH THIS DIFFICULT TIME!!~ GOD BLESS HIS FAMILY!! Gary was the driving force during Chyanne illness that kept us.  He helped Ken and I to get her things out of the house until the kids could have time to grieve.  He was pappy and made all those video's so we had great memories. RIP Gary we will miss you.  He took Hope and showed her the love she needed and played with her like a kid I know she will miss that. To our family he was a great person and showed Ken and I that he and Julie loved us too. We will miss pappy and know that he beat me to heaven to see Chyanne but give her a big hug and kiss for granny and I will do the same for you with Hope.   He has helped me to keep her memory alive and do for so many children and I deeply appreciate,  He was our driving force and from those we helped thank you. Just know you will be so missed and we will always give you the credit for her foundation. You loved her too as we did and Hope as we do.

Prayers and thoughts for you Julie, the kids and all of the family.

Gary was a great friend as well as pharmacist to our family.  He was always ready with a smile and I don't guess he ever met a stranger.  I have missed him not being in the store but I had run into him and Julie from time to time.  Gary will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.
