George Robert Loynes

and grandkids. He was a loving and caring person, devoted husband, father and grandfather.

George Robert Loynes "Bobby", 88 years of age, passed away March 2 2017 at Maplewood

Nursing Facility.

Bobby was born July 13, 1928 in Gibson County to the late Mose and Laura Mae Cheeks Loynes.

He was a brother to four sisters and two brothers. He was preceded in death by all his siblings.

Bobby was educated in the Gibson County school system. He married the late Betty Mae Fraizer

Loynes on January 16, 1955 and nine children were born from this union. Bobby professed his

life to Christ at an early age. He was a farmer most of his life.

Bobby leaves to cherish his loving memory his children: Ronnie (Connie) Loynes, Sherry (Walter)

Byrum, Teresa (late Larry) Siler, Ramona Holroyd, Cathy Davis, LeeAnn (Ron) Kirk, Robert

(Janice) Garrett, Jimmy (Debbie) Cannon and the late Doyle Loynes; twelve grandchildren,

thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Pall Bearers to carry him to his final resting place include; David Terry, Brian Lenard, Andrew

Hale, Daniel Lovell, Josh Stenberg and Jason Loynes.

Honorary Pall Bearers include; Walter Byrum, Sonny Byrum, Chris Byrum, Peyton Byrum, Larry

Lenard and Nolan King.

Visitation will be Saturday March 4,2017 at George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel from Ham

till1pm. Service to follow at 1pm with Bruce Pigue officiating. Burial will be at Highland

Memorial Gardens.

Friends and Family are welcome to attend his celebration of life.
