Mr. Grady Murchison passed from this life on Monday, September 6, 2010, at his home, after an extended illness. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 2:00 pm at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel with Dr. Joe Thornton officiating. Burial will follow in the Lesters Chapel Cemetery.
Mr Murchison was born on January, 17th 1937, to the late M.N Murchison, and Hettie Teuton. He retired from BellSouth after serving for 35 years.
He is survived by 1 daughter, Diana Lynne Johnson, and 1 son Ricky Joe Murchison both of Jackson.
1 sister; Shirley Hunt of Memphis, 2 Brothers Richard Murchison, and Clifford Murchison both of Jackson. 5 Grandchildren, and 6 Great Grandchildren.
Other than his parents he also was preceded in death by one son Jeffrey Leon Murchison
A Visitation for Mr. Murchison will be held on Wednesday September 8th, 2010 from 5:00 – 8:00pm
at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel.
