Mr. Harris a resident of Kenton, Tennessee passed away Friday, October 15, 2010 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital following an extended illness. He was born in Louisville, Mississippi on July 3, 1931 the son of the late Bud and Nola Colburn Harris and was retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Union City, Tennessee. Mr. Harris was a member of the Brown Chapel AME Church in Union City, Tennessee.
Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his wife, Eloise Young Harris and is survived by two sons, Leon V. Harris of Youngsville, NC; Arzelta Harris of Winchester, CA; and a host of other family and friends.
