James Edward Maybury II

Funeral services for James Edward Marbury II, age 18, will be held on Friday, October 24, 2014 at 12 p.m., in the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, with Pastor Dewayne Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Beech Bluff Cemetery.

James was born on June 19, 1996 to Jerry and Sherry Maybury in Jackson, TN. He loved the Lord with all of his heart and spent his life serving Him. He was very active in the church, serving on the drama team, praise team, and involved in various other church activities. He gave his life to the Lord forever on July 11, 2009, and was baptized on July 11, 2010.

He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, James Edward Maybury I and Harold “Pete” Warren, and by his aunt, Kelly Galigher.

He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Sherry Maybury; his sister and brother-in-law, Jessica and Justin Conder; his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Patsy Fullington; his paternal grandmother, Cecile Warren; his girlfriend, Cassidy Groves-Johnson; and a step brother and two step sisters.

A visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 5-8 p.m., in the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, and will resume at 10 a.m. on Friday until the service time of 12 p.m.
