Jessie Hill Ford III

Jesse Hill Ford III (Jay), age 62, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2014 at his home. Mr. Ford was born in Humboldt, Tennessee on February 21, 1952 to Jesse Hill Ford, Jr. and Sarah Davis Ford. He graduated from Humboldt High School and Vanderbilt University. Following graduation from Vanderbilt, he served a tour of duty in the United States Marine Corps. Following his military service, he graduated from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California. Mr. Ford and his family returned to West Tennessee in 1981 where he was in the private practice of law for 31 years, also serving as United States Bankruptcy Trustee. He was a devoted husband and father, and his favorite moments were spent with his family at Kentucky Lake.He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sarah Ford. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Deborah Shepard Ford; son, Wesley Thomas Ford and wife Allison Davies Ford; daughter, Anne Shepard Ford and husband Michael Matthew Pacetti; grandsons, Shepard Brock Ford and Joseph Hill Ford; sister, Elizabeth Grimes Ford; brother, Charles Davis Ford; and many nieces and nephews.The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., at George A.
