Joe Garrett

Mr. Joey Garrett ,49, of Jackson passed from this life on Saturday, September 25, 2010. Grave Side Services for Mr. Garrett will be conducted on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 10.00 a.m, in Hollywood Cemetery with Bro. Robert Morgan, and Bro. Larry Murphy officiating the service.

Joey was born on May, 24, 1961 to Joe and Nancy Garrett, of Jackson, and graduated from Northside High School. He received his Bachelors Degree From UT Martin, and received his Masters Degree in Sports Medicine from the United States Sports Academy in Daphne, Al. Mr. Garrett was employed as a Certified Athletic Trainer for many years. He was a member of Faith Family Fellowship in Spanish Fort, AL.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Lawrence Garrett, Maternal Grandparents; Willis and Maureen Clark, and Paternal Grandparents Thomas and Allena Garrett.

Other than his parents, he is also survived by his brother Michael (Amy ) Garrett, his nephews Samuel Garrett, and Isaac James Garrett, all of Birmingham, Al. Aunt Jean Clark Brown, Cousins; Douglas Brown and Lori Archey, and their respective families, all of Baton Rouge, La.

A Visitation will be Held On Monday, September 27th, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the George A Smith and Sons North Chapel.
