Krista Marie Chapin

Krista passed peacefully from this life to her heavenly home on March 4, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 6:30 PM in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. Rev.Carroll Roberson, and her Uncle, Don Maness of Palm Beach County will officiate the service.

Krista lived all of her life in the West Palm Beach, Florida area. She moved to Jackson in September of 2015 because of failing health to be with family. She was a Hearing Specialist.

She is survived by her parents, Jack and Judy Smith, brother, Eddie Sanders (Darla) of Flemington, West Virginia, son Barid Bigbee of West Palm Beach, FL., nephews, Colton Sanders, Stetson Sanders, a host of uncles, aunts, a great uncle, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be donated to the Jackson - Madison County Humane Society, 23 Pinnacle Dr., Jackson, TN 38301, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.

We the family wish to express our appreciation for the wonderful and loving care given to Krista this last year, including, Tina McCown, a volunteer who sits with patients, Mary Hayes and staff at Volunteer Home Health Care, Diane Dunphy and the whole team at AseraCare Hospice, and The Grove Home HealthCare.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons.
