Kristin Russow Mitchell

She was born on November 28, 1974, on Thanksgiving Day, to Jim and Susan Russow of Jackson, TN. She was a 1992 graduate of South Side High School and a graduate of UT Martin. She worked for the State of Tennessee DHS as a Field Supervisor for the Child Care and Community Services Division.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Paul and Frances Russow of Carthage, MO and Herbert and Lue White of Sarcoxie, MO.

She is survived by her husband Greg Mitchell; parents Jim and Susan Russow; and sister Andria Russow, all of Jackson, TN. Kristin was blessed with loving in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends.

Kristin gave in death as in life, choosing to be a tissue and cornea donor, as well as donating her body to research at Vanderbilt. Kristin will be entombed in Highland Memorial Gardens. In keeping with her wishes there to be a gathering held at a later date to celebrate her life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Donate Life America or The Jackson Animal Care Center.
